Javed Yusuf is a Sri Lankan educator and diplomat. He was the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. He was educated at Royal College, Colombo, where he played rugby union and went on to play for CR & FC.〔(No more the prince; CR wants to be crowned as kings )〕 The former Principal of Zahira College, Colombo, was appointed as Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia in the mid 1990s and served as a Senior Advisor to the former Sri Lankan Foreign Minister, Lakshman Kadirgamar. Yusuf was the Founder Secretary General of the Peace Secretariat for Muslims and was a member of Sri Lanka's first National Human Rights Commission.
